JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure stable supply of chemicals, live materials, Biosolution and Pharma products from local manufactures and overseas through accurate supply planning by managing proper inventory level. Collaborate/Negotiate with internal/external stakeholders to solve issues and ensure well planned supply.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
All duties performed will emphasize delivering products on time at expected quality.
- Responsible for End-to-End Supply Chain Planning, including Toller management, lead monthly S&OP cycle for B2B and B2C customers in Japan, including few export operations.
- Analyze Demand plan and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop accurate supply plan by keeping appropriate inventory within inventory target, considering production frequency, product tightness and other conditions to be reflected into latest plan.
- Negotiate with regional/global functions for material supplied by affiliates or with 3rd party suppliers to ensure on time supply based on monthly rolling forecast.
- Monitor suppliers and global events that could lead a supply risk and work on mitigation plan
- Cooperate with relative teams and lead when unexpected supply issue occurs to solve and/or minimize business impact.
- Place purchase orders to suppliers according to the supply plan and respecting frozen period.
- Manage contract of contracted manufacturers (toller), define and negotiate tolling production plan and monitor cost and deliveries.
- Corroborate with Quality manager to solve quality issues occurred at contracted manufacturers (toller).
- Lead the implementation of new launching products with both, internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage to achieve KPI’s targets such as Inventory (amount, excess, aging, non-conforming), forecast accuracy, write-off cost and OTIF.
- Manage team of 3 planners to ensure all deliveries made on time, drive process improvements and solve issues.
- Lead projects if related to planning, tolling for example source changes, planning system.
