Main responsibilities as an HR Manager for Japan, also support Korea, Australia, India, and Malaysia.
• Understand local market and external factors
• Function as a trusted HR professional for both employees and management
• Collaborate with Country managers and functional leaders
• Manage talent acquisition efforts
• Partner with the Global Talent Management team
• Review Total Compensation Strategies
• Enable Vaisala’s desired culture
• Ensure appropriate legal and regulatory compliance, code of conduct
• Manage HR risk elements
• Payroll (vendor)
• HR lead for APAC local entity initiatives
