Job description


This position is to manage and facilitate the following business processes in Global Product Supply as a strategic partner to CPSO and the each GPS leaders and consequently contribute strategically and effectively to achieve the goal of GPS.

1.Global Product Supply Governance and Performance Management Process
・Weekly Escalation
・Monthly Performance Review
・Global PS Strategy Meeting
・Others
2.Business Case Evaluation to decide sourcing site(s) of API and Drug Products for New Product Launches
3.Other strategic initiatives



Principal accountability of this position is to implement above listed business processes as a facilitator.
The role for Global PS Governance and Performance Management process includes
・Collaboration with CPSO, and Functional Heads in Global PS, HR and Finance Partners
・Set objectives and KPIs targets
・Follow up and monitor performance
・Escalate issues and agree their resolution
・Ensure adherence and enhancement of the proces

The role for Business Case Evaluation includes
・Collaboration with CMC project leaders, cross functional representatives and subject matter experts
・Assess some options for API / Drug products sources
・Summarize a team proposal
・Ensure adherence and enhancement of the process

Principal accountability of this position may also include leading strategic initiatives in Global Product Supply.

・Business level English/Japanese to collaborate with CPSO, other functional leaders/representatives and subject matter experts.
・Cross functional communication and facilitation skill to facilitate the above global processes
・Self-motivated
・General understanding of
　　Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and GMP.
　　Product Costing
　　Pharmaceutical product development
　　Balanced scorecard and KPI
・Experience in Project Management or functional performance management
