Major responsibilities
- First contact point and expert for all battery end of life solutions within MFTBC.
- Lead Technology & Process Planning within the industrialization project of our testing facility for EV battery recycling, including specification of equipment and optimization of processes.
- Key account to our external partner for our future battery recycling processes.
- Support operation of the testing facility for MFTBC in close collaboration with our external partner during the ramp up phase.
- Lead the process planning & equipment definition for battery recycling for future MFTBC projects and industrialization.
- Support in x-functional teams the creation of new battery electric product generations with focus on battery end of life solutions and circular economy.
- Build and share knowledge within MFTBC for EV battery recycling technologies
- Direct reporting to Head of ZEV Ecosystem & Business innovation as well as CTO Daimler Truck Asia

CTO直下の組織Mobility Transformation部門において、 バッテリーリサイクルスペシャリストとして、下記の業務をお任せいたします。
- MFTBC（三菱ふそう）内のすべてのバッテリー寿命ソリューションのファーストコンタクトウィンドウおよび専門家。
- EVバッテリーリサイクル用試験設備の工業化プロジェクトにおける技術・工程計画のリード。
- 将来の電池リサイクルプロセスに関する外部パートナーへの重要な説明。
- 立ち上げフェーズにおいて、外部パートナーと緊密に連携し、MFTBCの試験施設の運営をサポートする。
- 将来のMFTBCプロジェクトおよび工業化のためのバッテリーリサイクルの工程計画および設備定義をリードする。
- クロスファンクショナルチームにおいて、電池のライフサイクルソリューションと循環経済に焦点を当てた新しい電池電気製品世代の創造をサポートする。
- EVバッテリーリサイクル技術に関するMFTBC内の知識の構築と共有。
- ZEVエコシステム＆ビジネスイノベーション部門長およびダイムラー・トラック・アジアCTOへの直接報告

<< Ideal Candidate >>
- Master of Engineering or Electrochemistry, with focus on Recycling Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Firm understanding and working experience in industrialization of chemical facilities, and /or expert in automotive battery chemistry.
- Demonstrated (3-5 years) prior battery recycling experience, or work in battery development related field.
- Knowledge about chemical plant approval processes, regulatory, and needed certification in Japan of advantage
- Capable of managing multiple complex projects /tasks simultaneously
- Appreciates an environment where innovative and high-quality work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded and where individuals carry tremendous responsibility
- Excellent listening skills, organizational skills, and strong communications skills
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint)

- Profound English and Japanese knowledge

＜要件＞
- 工学修士または電気化学修士（リサイクルプロセス工学、化学工学、冶金工学に重点を置く）。
- 化学設備の工業化に関する理解と実務経験、または自動車用電池化学の専門家。
- バッテリーリサイクルの実務経験（3～5年）、またはバッテリー開発関連分野での実務経験。
- 日本における化学プラントの承認プロセス、規制、必要な認証に関する知識を有していることが望ましい。
- 複数の複雑なプロジェクトやタスクを同時に管理できる方
