Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities

1. Purchasing Management
● Evaluate the supply network and establish strategic partnerships with suppliers.
● Budgeting and management of material procurement.
● Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.

2. Production Planning
● Analyze demand forecasts and develop appropriate production plans.
● Manage production schedules and optimize production efficiency.
● Monitor and optimize inventory levels.

3. Logistics Management
● Develop logistics plans to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of products.
● Warehouse management and inventory optimization.
● Monitor and improve transportation processes.

4. Risk Management:
● Assess and manage risks across the entire supply chain.
● Monitor supplier risks and consider appropriate mitigation measures.

5. Budget Management
● Develop and monitor budgets for supply chain activities.
● Analyze and report on budget performance in various areas, including purchasing, production planning, and logistics.
● Create the accurate mid-term production plan for budgeting.
● Study and create the long-term production plan to predict the needs of investment in the future and reflect to budget plan.

6. Performance management
● Set “Site SC objectives” based on Saitama Factory objectives and deliver the results OTIF.
● Identify the KPIs and control severely.

7. New Product
● Develop and establish new supply chain process and procedures for new products with the project initiatives.
● Control production plan to execute the new product development.
● Lead Saitama projects as a project leader.

〇Experience :
・工場での購買経験
・SAP MM/PP/WM経験
・英語読み書き以上（ビジネスレベル以上推奨）
・業界不問

〇Competencies
Supply Chain Management Software Proficiency:
・ Mastery of software such as SAP or Oracle SCM for efficient procurement, production planning, and logistics management.

Data Analysis, Forecasting, and Risk Management:
・Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making, expertise in demand forecasting, and the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

Regulatory Compliance and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Knowledge:
・Understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP, GDP. PICs etc.), coupled with knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and compliance.

Able to lead a large project which include other departments.
Obtain knowledge about HSE and 5S, and reflect to operations.
Understand the tasks within the team entirely and able to manage and proceed them.
Able to lead improvements.
Able to resolve troubles.

Able to communicate strategically.
Able to influence and lead the team by making their abilities to improve continuously.
Understand and proceed PVS.
Able to explain PVS to the team and lead the proceeding.
Obtain passion to keep leaning and able to learn continuously.
Able to encourage team to keep them motivated.

Able to follow regulations and rule/manner in the workplace, and able to make the team to follow.
Able to manage well-beings to be able to make high performance
Able to make strategical communication, and build good relationship with stakeholders.
Understand objectives of Global and Local, and able to link with individual objectives.
Understand the Plant overview and be able to explain to visitors in both Japanese and English.
Able to communicate in English as a representative of Saitama plant or the team
Able to understand GMP documents written in English.
Understand Finance and able to create and assess business cases.
