【We’re hiring for Crop Protection Regulatory Manager】

■You Will Be Part of Growing Team
The Regulatory Manager will report to Crop Protection Regulatory Team Manager, Japan and support all regulatory and stewardship activities to the successful product launches and responsible uses in Japan.

・Purpose:
Conducts and manages regulatory studies to meet with local requirements of crop protection chemistries/biologicals by communicating closely with the zonal/global teams. Prepares registration documents and negotiates with regulatory stakeholders based on scientific knowledge. Supports commercial team for successful product launches and responsible uses as part of a cross-functional team in Japan. Reports to Crop Protection Regulatory Team Manager, Japan.
・Interacts with:
CP Global/Zonal regulatory leaders, brand managers, field scientists, product chemists, analytical chemists, supply chain planners, stewardship specialists, and Global/Zonal program leaders. External interactions include those with contract research organizations, regulatory personnel in other companies, and regulatory officials in local and central government.

■Key responsibilities:
• Registers and maintains pesticide registrations under various Japan regulations.
• Prepares and submits registration dossiers.
• Communicates with company global technical experts
• Follows and understands Japanese regulatory trends
• Manages regulatory issues of our company’s products

■Location & travels:
This role will be based in Tokyo. We provide Our Flexible Works Arrangements which allows you to work from home and in the office. Travel will be required to visit trial locations, conference, relevant industry events & internal meetings/trainings.

■Skills:
• Strong understanding of Chemistry
• Bachelor or advanced degree of Organic Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Agriculture or Pharmaceutical sciences
• 3 years of experience in regulatory work in chemicals, cosmetics or nutrition
• Problem solving and scientific logical thinking
• Good command of English as well as native Japanese skills
