Technical:
•Plans, coordinates and undertakes electrical, control system and infrastructure improvement projects for the Maihara production plant and site facility, adhering to safety and quality requirements.
•Plans, coordinates and undertakes electrical, control systems and infrastructure modifications, following relevant procedures to ensure that equipment is maintained in its validated state.
•Provides expert electrical engineering advice to other departments, particularly PETs for resolving complex technical issues, plant improvements and improved output.
•Understands & improves the asset capability. Drives continuous improvement and step changes in asset capability to meet the current and future needs of the business area
•Identify, develop and implement policies, procedures and record keeping systems to meet operational, safety and quality requirements, and conforms to best practice.
•Identify, plan and undertake capital improvement projects to time and budget, including preparing validation protocols and documentation, and completion of validation activities.
•Provides planned and ad-hoc maintenance support to PET and site services, completing work to the required standards and ensuring coordination with schedule and operational requirements.
•Participates in functional safety design review, risk assessment, hazard identification, machine safety and process safety workshops.
Operations:
• Provide high level technical leadership and expertise for the electrical control systems operation and maintenance, performance and continous improvement at the site, including compliance to Safety and GxP requirements.
• Provide expertise and advice to the Site Leadership Team on automation and electrical systems maintenance and improvement strategies, plans and execution requirements.
• Identify, develop and implement control system policies, procedures and record keeping systems to meet safety and quality (GMP) requirements, and conforms to best practice.
• Identify, plan and undertake capital improvement projects to time and budget, including preparing Validation protocols and documentation, and completion of validation activities.
People / Leadership Management:
• Leaders at AZ need to support, develop, coach and lead their teams in line with all AZ practices and policies.
